Shub Niggurath - Les Morts Vont Vite
Year- 1986
Country- Mexico.
I was always tempted to write a few words about this band. Cthulu inspired, Lovecraft, dark and ambient, Shub Niggurath would sweep you through across. Particularly "Les Morts Vont Vite". Translated as "The Dead go quickly". Most of the people perceive this album to be scary and frightening, but I personally express it as a colossal tomb of darkness throbbing through your head. This debut album surely portrayed the brilliance the band would show in the upcoming years.
This album sounds like a doom monster stomping all across your mind. The one hour of musical brilliance the album provides you with is just humongous. It's an essential listen for all progressive and slow music listeners once, during the period of their existence for sure. I'm sure it would hook you up immensely. H.P Lovecraft is surely happy with them.
Notable songs : Incipit Tragedia, Yog Sothoth.
